Veterinary Referral Program for Integrative Therapies

Bhatt Integrative Veterinary Specialty partners with primary care veterinarians across Chicagoland to bring integrative therapies to their patients. Led by Dr. Priya Bhatt, DVM, MS, CVA, CVMMP, CVFT, our Glenview team provides acupuncture, spinal manipulation, ozone therapy, herbal medicine, food therapy, and more, all by veterinary referral.

You keep the VCPR and full medical authority. We deliver only the therapies you authorize, and we send every medical question right back to you. Think of us as an extension of your treatment plan, not a replacement for it.

How does the referral process work?

  1. You submit the online referral form. This gives us your diagnosis, treatment goals, and the therapies you authorize.

  2. We review the case and contact your client directly to schedule.

  3. At the first visit, clients arrive 15 minutes early to complete our Client Care and Service Agreement and place a card on file.

  4. We perform only what you authorize. Medical questions, diagnostics, and treatment decisions go back to you, every time.

  5. You receive a treatment summary by email after each visit, so your records stay complete.

Which therapies can you refer for?

Acupuncture and Bodywork
Acupuncture, veterinary spinal manipulation therapy (VSMT), therapeutic massage, myofascial release

Light and Energy Therapies
Laser therapy, PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) therapy, red light therapy (complimentary with treatment)

Regenerative and Oxygen Therapies
Ozone therapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP)

Herbal Medicine and Nutrition
Chinese herbal medicine, TCVM food therapy, functional nutrition, supplementation protocols

Gut Health and Wellness Testing
Fecal microbiota transplant (FMT), fecal biome sequencing, hair mineral analysis, vitamin testing, blood allergy testing
